The Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA has moved its start time. This changes the process in several ways. Instead of January, the new date of October 1st is meant to get you the results before you commit to a college. This is intended to give you a better idea of the costs of college to better compare before a commitment is made.
Because of the new deadlines it is important not to push off or delay and to get an early start. Some funding is first-come, First-served.
